well, think again......i turkey baste everything & thought i was doing a pretty good job.....until my pumps arrived.......get the first one going and man was crap flying.....eh!

and another thing, when i ordered these i asked if i needed one or two, he suggested 2 saying that the flow would end mid-tank.....well, that aint happenning.....it took me forever to get the first one right, so it wasn't blowing everything all over the tank....like my frogpawn & everything else

my poor fish were freaking out

looks like u were oversold. people who do primarily sps do uses that much flow though.

when he asked what size the tank was, i just said 110.....i bet he assumed it was 6 ft and not 4.....i can see having to have 2 for a 6 ft tank

a good retailer would have asked for the dimension of you tank, the type of corals you are mostly gonna keep and what type of substrate you had inside the tank. recommendations are best from experience, not from assumption or from reading a box. congrates on your new toy, keep us updated.

blubbers right, a good rep would have asked more specific questions. but if its from an irragation store, they dont know scwat about corals! lol

but with outputs dirrected at each other it slows the dirrect flow considerably, and the up side is it creates a kaotic patterns within the tank. u know abit of extra plumbing can solve the flow strength as well, just add more inline outlets as another option

I have the same problem. I installed a closed loop on my 90 yesterday and the tank looks like a snow globe. I hope it clears up soon.
