Feather duster

I have a feather duster who has attached himself to a rock in a cave, I have tried to move him but pulled his tube off - don't worry, he's fine and growing a new tube. Is there any way I can get him to release his hold on that darn rock without hurting him.

Amphibious is on a distinguished road
If you can remove the rock, you can carefully cut away his tube. HOWEVER, too much trauma and Feather Dusters are know to "drop" their "feather" which of course is used for food and oxygen up take. So, if that happens it will put undue stress on the worm and possibly cause it's demise. They often recover and grow a new "feather" and are fine. Just wanted you to know the possibility of lose.

The "glue" they secrete through their skin picks up mud from their natural surroundings. In the aquarium that could be sand, gravel or, as most of us find out, it sticks to rock.

Hmmm, its a difficult process, but can be achieved, follow what amphibious said and make sure you place it were you want it this time.
