white fleshy type stuff on angel

today when the lights came on i noticed a 2" mark of white stuff almost fleshy type on my french angel and he had a tiny spot yesterday on him that seems to be bigger also raised and fleshy white it looks likeyou can just rub or pull it off the guy at the lfs said angels get something similar to this but i cant remember what it was called anybody no what this is or how to treat it

its not fuzzy it almost is like it shedding if a fish gets scratched or cut what does it look like when it starts to heal ive never seen this before
