feeding a french angel

i got a french angel for christmas and i no i need to feed it a sponge based food but how much mixed with flake and frozen i have 7 other fish and i cant just feed the angel formula if he gets a few good chunks everyday mixed with the other food would that be sufficient

Steve,

French Angels will adapt to your normal flake, frozen captive feeding regimen. While they eat sponges, sponges are not a necessity. Of more concern to me would be the size of the tank you are housing it in. Frenches get real big and grow pretty fast. What size tank is he in?

i have him in a 144 half circle i thought that would be big enough? as with the eating hes been munching down on reef formula, spirulina flake, formula 2 , lance and krill also a lil angel formula i just always herd sponge sponge sponge so i was jus a lil concerned. overall he has been eating everything i put in the tank

Fantastic! You should enjoy him for a long time. Don't fret about the lack of sponge in his diet. Besides, some sponge will appear on your LR and he may eat it or prefer your more appetizing diet.
