Lawn Mower Blenny

Hi,

I have not posted on here in a while but today I picked up a Lawn mower blenny. I was wondering if anyone else keeps them? Should I feed it any special stuff like some seaweed once in a while? if anyone could touch up on this little guy I would appreciate it thanks in advance...............Shaun

these guys are big herbivores.. if you dont have long algae then you will need to supplement its diet with algae wafers or something similar to keep it healthy

Mine loves the nori I feed my yellow tang and coral beauty, but also enjoys mysis and other meaty foods from time to time. He really likes the film algae on the back of the tank too.

so would a lawnmower be suitable in a nano i have a lot of algae growth and i thought one would be cool yet i did not really persue it.... if it can be kept in a nano prolly by itself with coral what are some good resources to read about the fish?
Personal experiences?
note by nano i mean a 20 gal long

I got my nori at the grocery store, in the asian food section. It's the same stuff as the seaweed selects.

3vilPuffin, I'm not sure about a 20. Mine's pretty active, but I don't know if it really cares how big the tank is.
