I’ve heard that 2 mandarins will fight. Is this true? I’ve had 1 for about 8 months and my wife gets all doe eyed when ever she sees one in the store I would like to get her another how can I prevent clashes?

Two of the same sex will fight. What size tank are we talking about here? You would have to have a large tank to support two mandarins of opposite sex. How much
LR ? Do you know how to tell the difference in the male and female?

Your system sounds good. Especially with the one you have now eating frozen and not drainin gth epod population.
You could add the opposite sex to your setup. Which do you have now? Male or female?

You guys/gals kill me
You know... Every week, I learn of at least one more person who has a mandarin that eats frozen foods.. this is a good thing... I'm sick of people saying that I shouldn't have Hendrix in my 29G....that yeah...he's okay now...but good luck in a few months....well... this dude has been with me for more than 2 years now.
