Multiple wrasses ????

Is it possible to keep different wrasses in one tank?
Can you keep different fairy wrasses together?
I am considering putting 3 or 4 wrasses in my tank(165 gal). Either just fairy wrasses or a mixture of some fairy wrasses and some of the smaller wrasses.

I have been trying to decide between green chromis and anthians for a schooling fish, but know I am thinking about just getting three or four small wrasses. I have heard that they are pretty active swimmers and IMO are a lot more attractive then the green chromis and I believe easier to keep then the anthians.

Does anyone know how hardy are they and can they go into a newly established tank (one or two at a time). Most of the other fish I am considering are larger fish or need an established tank so the wrasses would go in as the first fish.

I am still brainstorming on the population of my tank. Any suggestion or ideas would be appreciated.

ive only kept luna wrasse together in numbers, damn near killed me on food , it was a hive of activity> although in those days they were younglings, not sure on adults with their temperments @ that stage! i left one & traded the rest, it almost consumed all my fish in a week! lol even with heavier feedings

honestly i would stay away from anthias with a new tank, they command near perfect water quality at a consistant level!
thats why reefs are perfect for them, people dont tent to let the tank slip as much as FO. what skill level do feel your at?, welcome to talking reef coach, just caught your join date!
theres that gal discription of the tank again! lol, u americans, dont do anything by demensions anymore! blue and green chromies are orsome in numbers, make the schools old numbered though, it seems to look better!

Thanks for the reply. I will wait to put in anthians if I decide to go that route. The tank is 84"long, 18" wide, 20" tall. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
