Subject: [Saltwater Fish and Reef Aquariums] Found a Sweet Moorish Idol
I went to a store I have been to in a while I had a couple things to return there so I took the store credit and came hime with a Moorish Idol he was eating Frozen Shrimp and Frozen Mysis so I am hoping for those new to the hobby these are not a easy fish to have a great fish to look at though I thought long and hard before getting it,, hoping I didn't make a mistake.. I know Moorish Idos can be coral eaters but sometimes you just have to gample will try keep it well feed adding a sponge to nibble on amd hope it's happy eating frozen foods.. and I hope I have him a long time

dave, paul b on reefcentral keeps a moorish idol. i know at one time he was doing an experiment by feeding it bananas. i think it worked ok but mainly i think he said it eats sponges? let us know how your new fish fares.
