AquaC Remora Nano not working well?

I used to get a lot of wet skimmate from my Remora Nano, but never the thick dark stuff people talk about.

Since adding the chiller, I noticed I don't get much out of it. I even cleaned the injector with the supplied brush and pulled apart the MJ-900 that pushes it.

This is a pic from another forum:

This is mine:

Am I doing something wrong? Since it's modded, I'm sure I voided any warranty.

I read some where using oily additives can cause problems. I use selcon & reef plus. Are these oily?

I wonder is a vinegar bath will help.

It could just be your additives. I have the larger aquaC and at times it stops skimming with feeding and other additives. Try stopping the selcon and see if it starts skimming again. I don't think the problem is bulidup so the vinegar bath most likely won't help.
