tds at 9ppm

hi I have a 8 month old R/O 100gpd system and my tds was reading 3ppm and then 26ppm in days so I turn it off and replace the sediment, carbon and DI and still getting 9ppm should I replace the membrane?

what id the TDS going in ?? at 8 months i would say the time is getting close to replace it anyway.

the membrane is like 8 month and I just replace today the sediment cartridge the 2 carbon and the DI at first was reading 2 and now in 7hours I fill up my 50 gallon storage tank and now is reading 13ppm membrane usually last at least 3 years?

you probably can flush the membrane i don't know what system you have it will be good if you show me a pic i can probably help you

you need di is yellow already your ppms will continew to go hi if you don't replace the di media

this di is new this is the regular di resin this one turn black or brown color when is time to replace it.

is been running from 8am I will see how it is tomorrow morning I have a new membrane for my aquafx r/o and see why it does. is wired I think this r/o are really cheap and they probably use cheap filters and membranes

Its hard to say if 9ppm is bad. We really need to know the incoming waters TDS to know if the membrane is doing its job. The 100gpd membranes give up some filtering capacity for the sake of making more water in a day. They are more suited to places that have decent water straight out of the tap. Areas with water that is not so good, would be better off with a 75gpd membrane.
