ASM skimmers

does anyone have any exp with the asm g2 skimmer?

I just got a G2 for my tank but it did not come with any instructions I am wondering at what level the foam should be at the only other skimmer I have had was a cpr bak-pak so don't really have anything to compare it too.

You will need to mess with it a little to get the skimmate you desire, but a good starting point is to have the water line slightly below the base of the neck. That is, the point where the neck gets the smallest.

mine is not a G2, but i also kept my water level there before i added the mesh mod to it.
