Phosban Reactor pump?

I've had my Phosban Reactor setup for about 4 days now and have noticed amazing results. I got a good deal at BIOREEF. $30 for reactor and $20 for 250mg of Rowaphos. Right now I have a Maxijet 600 on it and with the ball valve turned down it is making noise. What kind of pump do you guys use with yours?

i do not use them but i know the flow rating is low..
i would recommend either a rio 50, or a mini-jet 404 or 606 as the phosban reactor flow rating is under 100 gph

I just split my line going from my Mag 5 from the sump into the tank and put valves on each side that I could use to throttle down the flow. It worked great until I got rid of the sump (Don't worry it's coming back).

i have the same pump as you 8251Reefer but i no longer use it with rowaphos. i had problems with rowaphos lowering my ph so i just run my carbon through it now. works well with carbon. watch out for the ph when using rowaphos, if you use it properly it is verry effective though.

I am only using about two tablespoons of Rowa. Is that too much?

pump recommended for one reactor is a maxi-jet 400 - reliable and works great - you can turn it down as well if the phoshate remover is tumbling too much.

If you put a T between the pump and the valve you can use just about any size pump. The excess flow will just go out the the other side of the T.
