RO/DI Water Shelf life

Hi.

In the next few weeks I will recieve my 150 Gal Tank, I intend to cycle the LR in the Tank and it will take a while to RO 150 Gall.

Can I start filtering the water now if I keep it in clean covered dustbins or the similar ?

How long can I keep RO/DI Water ?

yes, thats fine..
you can also get the salt mixed in now as well. this will help it from leaching stuff from the air if the containers are not air tight
