Smile AquaC Remora availability

I have read a lot of good reviews on this skimmer. but i cant find them at a couple LFS. I found them online @ ebay and marinedepot. i need more info on this skimmer. anyone has a first-hand experience on this skimmer? please include the model you used. also i want to know how efficient this skimmer is if you used after getting rid of your older skimmer.

thanx

I bought an AquaC Remora w/ Maxijet 1200 for my 30 gallon tank. It worked really well. I still have it on my 75 gallon tank and have it skimming as wet as I can. I have to clean it every other day. Some day when I decide on what skimmer to get for the 75 I will put it on my nano. IMO it's an awesome skimmer for the money. You can get them shipped on ebay for about $170

What size tank will it be used on?

In my opinion, the AquaC Remora is the best hang on skimmer available. However, if I have a tank with a sump, I wouldn't buy it.

I have an AquaC Remora with the MJ1200 on my 12g nano. There was no previous skimmer in this case since I learned that lesson with my other tank. I buy the best and don't have to worry about replacing it.
