stand for 100 gallon

would this stand design provide enough strength to hold a 100 gallon fish tank?

With a 2x4 every 12 inches on center, I think you could follow that pattern for a 1,000 gallon tank as long as you braced the width accordingly -so, yes. In fact it seems overbuilt compared to what is sold in stores. The image was too small to read the font, btw.

DM, you could park a truck on that stand. I've always made my own and most recently for a larger tank than a 100. It'll be fine. Are you handy with carpentry?

holy crap !! my 125 stand is made of 1x and 3/4 particle board (of course it is a standard stand). i agree with Russel, that thing will hold up a MAC truck.
