Why i have been neglecting my fish

Okay, so over the last two weeks i have really been neglecting my poor fish. But i have a good excuse:

Old Bathroom:

After lots of sweat, blood, but no tears:

Oh and yes, that is Italian marble on the floor. Pretty sweet huh

Wow, what a difference ! I take it you did it yourself? When we moved into our house, we stripped most of the house back to the studs and joists, redid most of the electrical and plumbing and I taught myself how to tile. After 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and an entryway, it's one of my least favorite activities, behind sheetrocking and painting

Thanks all!

I don't know bobby. I think one bathroom is enough for me! Although it is pretty cool to see it finished and looking good. When the room was gutted my heart would race every time i looked in, thinking: "Oh my god we just destroyed our bathroom! What a !"

I have decided i can't solder worth a damn. At some point i must have pissed off the soldering gods; all of my attempts end up with piles of melted solder on my feet and the studs on fire. I am soooooo glad the tank only requires pvc and glue! That i can handle.

Yea Pearson, i dig you point about it not being fun. I spent 12 hours tiling the bathtub and the next day i felt like i had spent the day at the gym. Good thing though: my wife is now a wetsaw expert. She cut all the marble and tiles for the whole project.

The last step is to clean up the junk all over the place so i can watch the fish!

I own a small construction business and tip my cap to anyone who takes on a room remodel and doesn't wind up calling in someone like me! Great job!
