i have not kept them, but i went through a phase where i wanted a pair really bad so i did lots of research. Basically from what ive read they require lots of dedication to get them to bond to you, then after that they are a joy to have. Really loving and sweet, but only to you...they really dont like other people a lot like parrots only bond to their owners. They can never be trained to control their bowels and will crap all over the place if they feel like it.

But aside from them being illegal in some states (like the one i live in) nothing really made me think twice about getting a few until i realized that i just dont have the time. So if your serious about it then id say research the heck out of it and give them a shot. Theres a really good breeder in california that has a website with tons of good information. Heres the link Sugar Gliders
