Poorly designed products!

I was just organizing my CDs and realized that I'd broken one tab off of the jewel case on over half of 'em. I've bought new CDs and had them broken before I even got the disc out. There HAS to be a better design for these *%#@ things after 20+ years of producing them. A runner up is the brackets that hold Tunze nano-streams. I think all four of mine have broken now, and I've had them less than a year.
Any other things come to mind?

I've had three sets of gaming PC headsets to break, as for aquarium things, i think my nano cube would fit on the list, the back lid brackets both were snapped off

I'll second the Tunze streams. Not only do they break easy, but both of mine did not quite snap together so it wasn't too hard to pull it apart (though not without breaking a tab or two). I just glued my second one right away befroe waiting for it to break.

My other qualm is my Hydor Theo heaters. The scale is about ten degrees off on all four that I have! I bought this kind because they are the shortest ones per watt that I found. They do hold the temp steady, but you are going to be out of luck if you want the water cool enough for sea horses or somehting less than a reef. One is all the way down (I think 69 or 70 is the limit) to maintain 80deg temp.

The clips that are on the cases they bought for our cell phones at work. The button that you push to release the phone from the clip is above the level of the phone. So, every time you bend over you push the button with your side and the phone falls off.

How bout Suction Cups why hasn't the market started using magnets or hooks? seems like everytime I turn around I have another failed suction cup. Great for freshwater but horrible for salt. That erks me more than everything else in my tank. ERGGGGGGGG!!!!!

I got Algae Free brand Sure Grip magnet holders that hold my big tunze and maxijets. They work great. They are also supposed to work with seio powerheads. Magnets are a great product.

Unfortunately I have a few small crappy J&J and Penguin pumps that only have suction cups. My heater has suction cups and untill I get a bigger fuge, It's stuck in the display. I have my eyes on a few new replacement pumps but I'm working on getting a new job right now and not much money to mess around with. so untill then ERGGGGGGGGGG!!! but thanks all :J

I use aquaclears and the suction cups on those still stick and Ive had them for a little over a year. They seem to last a good bit. If you keep up with maintenance on your powerheads and keep the suction cups clean they should last a long time.

Sadly, the Tunze one's break easier than CD jewelcase tabs.

I ditch the jewel cases as soon as I buy the discs and put them in 2x2 (doublesided) sleeves in a binder. In 3 inches of shelf space I can have 160 CDs.

Just as bad as CD jewel cases are the hood support arms on my 24g JBJ Nanocube DX. Made out of brittle plastic, they both broke off within the first 6 months of use...
