Is it wrong...

Hey, if it's good enough for the fishes....

I don't think its wrong at all

I had a friend that use to have a salt tank and he couldn't ( or wouldn't) keep up with water changes and stuff and his tank was always crashing. Well one day he asked me what i thought about him getting a hot tub and i told him if he couldn't handle a salt tank he shouldn't have a hot tub lol

Scary thing is, it worked perfectly

I pay WAY more attention to the tank chemistry than the hot tub, where my wife and kids frolic daily

Yeah but the stuff you buy at the spa place is way cheaper than the stuff you buy for your tank! We've had our tub long enough that I hardly ever test it. I just dump the stuff in that you know it needs and change the water every 3 months! I think I read about something you could put in your tank to eliminate water changes. Now I wonder if it would work in a hot tub???

Yeah, baking soda would have been fine, but I didn't have any handy.

Hmmm, chemi-pure in the hot tub, good idea!
