who does this kinda thing?

when i went to my LFS this weekend, they were missing 3 tanks...their prized nano....a 220 w/ all the large fish & LR....and another tank w/ LR

when hubby asked about it, he said that someone had come in and poured bleach into the tanks....i didn't ask for all the details, as i could tell the guy was really distraught just thinking about it

what makes people do this type of thing?....not the first time i have heard of this kind of behaviour

This kind of thing drives me nuts! At least on one level I can understand crime with some element of personal gain but this stuff I just don't understand.

This is terrible.

Dying by bleach is perhaps the worst and most painful way for aquatic creatures. It is horrifying! I have witnessed it before and still can't describe it in word. But that is a story for another time....................

I have heard about ex-employees doing this sort of thing. My LFS had an employee that topped off their freshwater tanks with saltwater. Or that was the story I was told anyways.
