even though they are family dogs, the females are the best at protecting the house & family! males are sometimes lazy while stepping on the females turf is like a dirrect insult & slap in the face. i so totally love these dogs. they are crafty buggers, there are 2 types, the in your face straight away dogs, or the i'll let u in, but im not going to let u leave with your leg calves intact!
at the end of the day, the females are easyer to control, & i know its going to sound abit mean, but a backhand from the male of the family when they step out of line brings them back to earth real quick! same works for the males, but i dont like any chalenges from my dogs, they end up costing me vet bills cause i dont take any S$#t.
its not a pocket dog we are talking about here, its a dog that has the weight & size to take anyone down
I love them to, but the reason why we rescued this one is becuase we wanted one and it was abused bad... i had a hammer out putting a nail back into the kitchen counter and he tried to fit under our bed.. im not sure what these people did but it is taking some work to break him. on the other hand a friend came over and told him to come on in ill be in the computer room. and sure enuff as soon as he walked in sherman bolted around the corner and cornered him barking like i have never heard, then i came in there he turned around like here you go daddy
awww, now u make me feel bad cause of my harder line!
thats crazy though, dogs should have a heathy respect for u, & vice versa, never a real fear or terror! i would hate to think what the previous owners did, but thats under the bridge now, sherman has a loving dad to look out for his interests!
good to see he still has that spark by cornering the friend. good sign he's on the mends
dont feel bad i completly agree with you, but hands are ok. hammers and god only knows what esle they used is what i dont agree with.. and thanks for completment
