what i actually want is the make this thread a tribute to TR and the work that Rob, along with the TR staff has accomplished.
with the first year celebration of TR, Rob has neglected to mention the time and effort that he and his staff members put forth to make this the premium and fasting growing forum available.
he has made this place a family,.....how many members have ever been greeted or welcomed at other sites?
how many of us before TR can post a question and have it anwered in a day....if not within minutes? there was a few that lingered for a while, but Rob never let it go unanwered. he was probably one pissed-off dude madly searching through the net or his many books and encylopedias (he is a closet librarian) for an answer because everyone else was sleeping.
all those podcasts, and now an iPod with my name on it.....oops.....and with an iPod for the first year contest......this is ReefHeaven.!
he took the time to thank us for many things, and now it is time for us to thank him.........so SPEAK UP!!

rob, i said it to u in a private email yonks ago (maybe the same time i was youngling unfriendly) about how the podcast content & the overall bar of the shows keep getting better!
i find u go up in stages, u will rise, then a handful of show will follow that benchmark, then a show comes along, where u sit back & think, actually, i enjoyed that more than usual>>then true to form the shows following fall in behind to the frontline!
ive got afew kind words for ya!, have a shave u bum! & never stop producing what seems to be a natral talent! ur a piece of the future in our hobby my friend, i see clips of the future from yogi training. I see prime time ratings on a global scale, & me selling your autograph on ebay to the highest bidder! lol
Alright, someone tell me how the hell Rob and staff find the time to do all this? Seriously, I can't imagine having enough time to keep up with every post, pm, email, my own tank(s), and still have time to produce shows. Not to mention, having a full time job at the same time.

it is some work, but having all of you come back every week for the show, and every day for the forums (sometimes 10 times a day) really makes it all worth it.
im really trying to come up with practical and innovative ways to make TR the leading organization in hobbyist reefkeeping. and hopefully the podcast is just the start of it.

Rob is amazing! Don't forget he has a full time job, which he is always on call for, juggles a 5 yr old, has the dogs and puppies, keeps his woman happy, keeps all of us happy, keeps up the with tanks, and still does a show!?!?!? Amazing, amazing!!
