My favorite pump for boosting circulation is the Koralia by Hydor of Italy. These are so popular they are hard to get and keep in stock. My supplier recently filled only half my order after waiting two months to get them. I have the following in stock now, subject to prior sale.
Reaching my 70th BD, I realize that I cannot help but grow old. However, I refuse to grow up!!! My wife would tell you, "He may be 70 but, He's going on 17". Life is wonderful with a woman like that.
Dick, I am either going to carry those or Tunze in my store. Still trying to decide. With a typical retail markup, would these be competitively priced?
Russel ... you probably will have a hard time keeping these on the shelves !! these PH's rock !! i do not own a store, but i know how hard they are to get right now, and they have been for the last few months.

Normally I do but out of them and don't know when I'll be placing the next order. Sorry.

And, just to add another selling point, i disassembled all my modded Maxijets and replaced them with Koralia 3s. A modded MJ and a Koralia 3 are about the same price and the Koralias work waaaaay better. They are completely silent, whereas a modded MJ can rattle around, and the suction + magnetic attachment lets you place them anywhere without having to build clips or rely on suction cups. Lastly, they are easy to clean, not that i have to do that often, and move some serious water.
I already have all mine Dick, but if i ever upgrade my tank (fingers crossed) i will order a bunch more from you!

Thanks Samuel. I really like the Koralia pumps. I have two #3s in my 135 on a wave maker. They clatter once in awhile but not very often.
Anyone ordering a "bunch" of them (3 or more) from me ought to check with me for a better price. As you know, my price includes shipping in the lower 48 states. While there isn't a lot of room for me to move, combining multiple units helps me save on shipping.

I agree Samuel. I have a 4 in my 120 and need to get another. I was looking for an nano for, well, my nano, and didn't want to have to drop a bunch of cash on a Tunze.
They are the only pumps I will use in my tank. I only have 1 pet store out of the 6 not so local pet stores i go to. And he cannot keep them in stock either. Great product!

Hydor is suppose to be working out the kinks in THEIR wavemaker that is designed specificly for the Korallia pump. it is to hard on them to start and stop all of the time, so the wavemaker they are making is the type that lowers and raises the prop speed.

The only way to slow the prop down would be reduce the voltage to the motor. AC motors dont usually tolerate this well unless they are specifically designed for it, especially in rapid changes. Hopefully they planned well for this feature.

I thought the same thing about the voltage, I haven't seen a wave maker from hydor so I assume it hasnt happened yet. I wasn't sure if thier was a way to put some kind of spacer in the pump to keep it from slapping when it came on.
On another note i remember visiting hydors site about 4 months ago when i bought the pumps and it was in english. now i believe its in italian, did they get bought out recently or something?

Got some Qs for you. I have the 90g with the standard return from my tower. I have purchased a "T line" to disperse water towards both sides of the tank as the flow isn't what it's suppose to be. The LSF hasn't come out yet to take the single off and add the T. (They want to do it because they're afraid I'll mess the pipe to the bulk head up. And you know the story behind that nightmare.) I currently have a wavemaker on the other end. What size/how many of these pumps, would you recommend for my tank?
