fragging a polyp rock
Hello, I just stumbled upon this site while trying to find out how to
frag a polyp covered rock. (I think I may have found a gold mine of info
lol ) I was trying to learn how to
frag a rock covered in polyps. I was told to just lay the rock on a towel and use a rock chisle (sp). They are not fancy polyps just little brown ones. But its a freinds rock
lol don't want to mess it up.
Thanks for any help

Welcome to TR. lReef lKeeper has posted a good video demo, but I'll admit to having used the hammer and chisel method as well
Don't worry, you'd be hard pressed to hurt most colonial polyps.

Thanks for the info, just a bit timid, whacking a rock covered in button polyps with a chisle just doesn't feel right ya know. You spend all that time learning to make them grow to turn and cut them up
lol . It's only the polyps that bother me
shrooms and
acros seem easier. Thanks again.
