A couple of months ago I bought two juvinile false perc's and I was wondering how long will it take for them to pair up. Because right now they would get along then nip at each other and chase each other around the tank. Also I have a Larger clarki could this be the reason there not paring. Thanks

It's possible your A. ocellaris haven't matured yet. It's difficult, if not impossible, to tell the age of "juvenile" fish so, hard to determine when they will mature. Having the larger clown in with them may delay their pairing but, Mother Nature will prevail. Give them time and feed them well.

depending on the size of the tank they should eventually pair, however Clarkii's can be semi aggressive so if the tank is too small, and it interferes too much, the pairing process may be prevented..
so i would ask what size is the tank, and do you see the clarkii picking on them?
just to note, if they are nipping and picking as you indicate thats is usually a good sign.

The clarki is picking on him so i'll move him out to a smaller tank. Also My tank is a 60 gallon Sqare so he always pickes at them out of agression in fact he picks on all My fish incuding my tang so it'll be good that I move him out. Thanks again

that is NOT GOOD !! with the fish picking on them the stress on the fish that are being picked on is very high. combining this with a tang in a 60 gallon tank (to small for a tang), you will usually end up with sick fish, and this stress is usually enough to kill them. i suggest getting the tang out of the tank and giving it to someone with a large tank or trade it to you LFS for credit, and going with more 60 gallon suitable fish. tangs swim hundreds of miles every day in the wild, so they need a lot of room in a tank also.
