Can one mix one regular perc or oscellaris clown with a black and white perc and expect them to live well together as a pair (not necessarily breed) but get along?
That, and i want to put a pair of these clowns and a yellow-tail damsel in my new 15gal. I cant really decide whether i want the normal or black clowns so i figured id just get one of each and the yellow-tail.
Sound ok? i realize i'd be a bit overstocked for this tank so before anyone calls me out on that...i know.

If they are both true percs, I think the issue you would run into is having one female and the rest male, regardless of coloration. If they are different species, you could pull it off in a larger tank, but I wouldn't dream of it in a 15 gallon. And the typical yellow-tailed blue damsel is very territorial and may cause big problems. I had one that bullied fish 3 times it's size. It was great until it got to about 2 inches, then became intolerant of ANYTHING. And this was in a 65. I'm not suggesting you don't get one, but be ready to move it or get rid of it if problems arise.
mmmk....so what about 1 black true perc and one normal true perc? and then what about a blue chromis or a black spotted damsel?

Damsels fish are a pain. Blue Green Chromis more better. I have a school of 8 in my 125 and they are so cool. I agree with Carmie and RK. WAY too small for two clowns. Get a bigger tank if you want them Russ.

Here is a fish list Nano-Reef.com - Fish Information that might help you. Obviously you can't have one of everything but it may suggest some other fish that you hadn't thought about.

Huh???
I have a 125, 75, 65, and 55. And I never wanted damsels!
hmm...well now this article actually reccomends A. oscellaris and A. percula for tanks 7gals and up.
what about If i had a pair of A. oscellaris and one other fish from that list (eh, not sure right now).

I believe in light bio-loads. I have only a percula and a chromis in my Nano Cube 24. I am new to nanos so I will wait for others to advise you on the suitability of the fish.
again, three fish is way too heavy fpr a 15gal. Carmie is absolutely right, unless you do water changes religiously (even then i wouldnt dream of it) i wouldnt go with 3.
If you had your heart set on it, you could probably pull a pair of clowns off. But you'd need excellent filtration, you can't overload the tank with LR, so they have places to swim, and you MUST be religious about your tank Params.
Again, its like many things in theis hobby, it can be done, but not without a great amount of research, patience, and commitment.
