i just got a new perc clown and a black and white clown perc is having trouble peeling, red skin rapid breathing not eating does anyone have an idea of what is wrong

ok.. so you got a Percula clown and a onyx ocellaris clown
and one (or both) are having problems peeling?? what do you mean by peeling?

what are your tank parameters, exact readings
nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, PH

when was it added, and how was it acclimated?

The only thing i have heard of referred to as peeling is Brooklynella parasite which is a fish disease? Is that what you are talking about? Does it look like a white mucus surrounding the body?

the perula clown dead last night the onyx seems to be fine i ordered fish from an online store i think maybe the fish was stressed nitrate is 15 ph is 8.0 ammonia is fine nitrite is fine

By chance did you put the water into your tank that the fish was shipped in?

no i didnt put the water from the bag in my tank i ordered the fish from an online store think it was stressed

ah.. yes, its likely the water thats causing this..
you should not add any more fish until your tank is balanced out.
if this is a new tank its likely still cycling.

either way the chance of death is very high until you get the parameters under control.
