Question: since you are still experiencing massive die off wouldn't it make sense to extract every and any living thing into a quarrantine tank for now?
well this is a tricky one.. first of, most of the damage was done when i got home, so the best thing for me to do was to stabilize the system. taking the corals out and putting them into a
QT would have only increased the amount of stress and likely resulted in further damage. so i decided to clean up the water in the system as quickly as possible. the trick is you have to make a call.. which one is more stressful, leaving them in there, or acclimating them to a totally new system, i chose to leave them, since i was able to clean up most everything
