While cycling, how long should I leave that shrimp in the tank? Does it stay thru the whole cycle or can it come out after the ammonia peaks or sometime before?

Also, can I add more LR and/or LS during the cycle or should I wait?

for the shrimp, you only need to leave it in for a 2-3 days

and yes, you can add more LR during your cycle, as for LS, you can do that too, its just messy.. :)

just make sure you continue to test because it might extend your cycle phase, or have an effect on it...

but its better to do this all before you start to actually stock the tank

Yes, the tank won't be ready to stock for another 4-6 weeks unless it really cycles fast. It's only been going for 9 days.
