Is there a thing such as a tea cup caulerpa? It looks like grape but instead of round it has a bunch of flat "heads". It grows profusely. Wish I never put it in the tank. I am hoping that this month I will get my money to setup a sump with a dedicated refug area to specifically grow something (not this) that will compete for resources and kill this stuff off. Anyway, just wondering. Also if you are in the louisville ky area and need this junk to feed your Tang I will gladly supply you a couple rocks for them to clean unless you want to bring your Tang over for feedings ;-).

It sounds like C. racemosa.

I have a similar macra C. lentillifera and it is very hard to get rid of. Apparently my cherub angel was keeping my DT free of it. Since he went carpet surfing I have been pulling it out.

I still have some growing in my fuge. Despite battling it in my DT I think it is great for nutrient export.
