What is meant by fluidizer when talking about reactors?

The media in the reactor is kept in suspension by water being pumped up through it. This causes the media to continuously move allowing more surface area to come in contact with the water and thus removing more contaminants.

Thanks Carmie, so every reactor works this way right, one reactor is not better than another?

Missy, to the best of my knowledge all of the media reactors work in a similar manner.

i dont think i can add to much to carmie's write up, as that was bang on!

(Carmie -your the weird quiet one playing pool /snooker that everyone agree's to bet against you, then "WAP" - one by one they fall with kodak blank expressions left on those to whom you just blitzed :p)

so anyways back to the story, design can play a role, only if its cheap crap you payed $3 for @ a $2 shop, however pump design & efficency is where any differences would lay id imagine.

Namely incrimental tweakability!

wow, where do i get these great words from??? *sigh*
