When my frogspawn retracts itself I notice a couple of tiny red dots on its stalk is this something I should be concerned about?

Didnt think coralline could grown on coral. Thats the hard part though so is that considered its skeleton?

No your ok That part of the skeleton is supposed to show. If you start seeing the skeleton where the tissue is on top then that's when you need to worry.

Phew thats a relief . I dont see the tissue on the top so that is good BUT ..... I see some of the tentacles turning darker colored and shrinking. That cant be a good sign??? What should I do?

The "stem" part of the skeleton is supposed to be exposed. As yours grows the heads will divide and you will see more stems.

Ok that sounds pretty cool cant wait to see it do that.

What about the darkening and shriveling of some of the tentacles right now? Are they dying?

It could just not be happy for some reason or another. Is it happening at night sometimes a coral will close at night.
