Simple request. The topics for the Podcast episodes forum should begin with the episode number to allow sorting by episode.

Nice suggestion.. I'm sure Rob will chime in here.

Welcome to the TR! You get to keep reefs on the Air Force Base? ;)

I end up renaming them that way anyway. That way they stay in order when sorted and you can pick them out easier on a smallish sceen like an MP3 player. The newest episode stays on top of the list that way.

the episode number has always been in the file name however, i can start adding it to the beginning of each show if it would be helpful

It would make sorting through them much easier. Here's how I've been labeling them. BTW WOO HOO Episode #50 IS COMING SOON!

ok.. i misunderstood...
iTunes should auto sort the episodes by date retaining the original release order (if using the iTunes podcast feature), regardless of the name

hey Gizmo, what are you worrying about? you spell better than most americans, me included. no need to be self-conscious, if anyone can't fiqure out you are saying, they wouldn't have been able to find this site to begin with. what we do need is to find a universal translator for jokes.

There is a spell check- just look for http://www.talkingreef.com/forums/images/editor/spelling.gif in the toolbar. You will have to download a program- it works great!

Gwen, is this in the user CP?

Gizmo,

I use the Google Toolbar http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/toolbar/index.html (NOT desktop) which has a spell checker that works for any website form. I use Firefox for my browser but there is a link to Internet Explorer underneath the download button if that is what you use.

no- it's in the main toolbar when you post a message- I see it under the "Quick Reply" box too... however, I believe only those who use IE will see it.

Ah, there are occasional issues with using Firefox. But the Google Toolbar works great and doesn't install spyware so it is a good alternative.

I love Firefox, it's the only thing we run at home. Unfortunately, work won't let us it and I'm stuck with IE 8 hours a day.
