hey guys, got two corals for you experts out there. i have no clue what it is and neither did the LFS guy (not a good sign). the orange one makes me think its a leather coral because it is shedding.

Hi Braden, the first one does look like a leather but still I'm not sure. The second one is a blue Xenia that is a great find if you don't mind me asking how much you payed for him. Thanks :)

The orange one is a sponge. Not a very good long term prospect for survival.

SI agree ... First is a sponge ... Not shedding, possibly some type of algae or bacteria on it. Still though ... Not a good survival rate. Always research BEFORE you buy to make sure you are setup prroperly to maintain the animals needs.
