Last night I downloaded several podcasts of interest my nano and today I sat on some planes all day crossing the US. Made the trip very enjoyable. I made it to gonipora and wanted to say that from the first few to that episode they got better and better.

I'm looking forward to listening/watching more in the future.

Thanks:D

Hi House,

Welcome to TR. We'd love to hear a little about your nano when you have time.

You are right, Rob does a great job with the podcasts and they just keep getting better! I like listening when I am traveling too.

I love the new member posts.. makes me all gushy n' such :)

Rob is right..it's NOT a little site anymore. The statistics are amazing. I keep telling my friends that it exploded when I came on board...but the truth is..it's GWEN.. :) Okay... maybe it's not Gwen either.

The bottom line is, Rob gave birth to a great, multi-faceted service and it is getting the life it deserves.

its a great website. user friendly and not overcrowded. on the west coast, everyone is an expert on every topic, i've been a guest on numerous sites, even if i wanted to make a reply....it would be behind 15 others. rob, one of the beauty of this site is that there is a sense of being in a family. too many family members can sometimes cause problems.

yeah thats the catch..
as much as i would love this site to be HUGE, boards that get too big tend to be problematic, and over crowded.

i dont think we are close to that, but yes, we have a wonderful little family here, i just love it.. :)

that day will come. how does a great site like TR keeps its identity and yet still remain a player with its sponsors and advertisizers?

that day will come, and on that day you will decide whether you are a site owner or a hobbyist. but until that day, there is no better site than here.

yeah, ive seen sites explode before, & ive also seen backrooms develop.
i agree with rob, no where near that yet.

personally, i like saying a funky hello to people, i dont seem to be drying up on fun ways amuse myself whilst having a welcoming introduction.

... that get too big tend to be problematic, and over crowded.

And that typically pertains to the egos of the mod/admin "teams". Hope we ALL learn to keep ourselves "in check" as we grow and don't cause TR to "implode" like other sites.
