Happy New Year to all!

I have a few questions about my lighting. I am setting up a 65 gallon tall AGA.

I purchased two 150 W Coralife MH's with only weeks of use on them for a price I couldn't pass up.

I also have a Current USA Orbit which have 1 96 W Day and 1 96 W actinic PCs along with 3 LED lunar lights.

For my first question, how far away from the waters surface should I place the MH's? I am going to have to make a custom fixture to hold both lights in place and don't want to make the expense twice.

Second, if I were to change both of the PC to actinic's, would this be sufficient for cycling, or should I look into getting something else?

Third, I plan on running my sump lighting while my display lights are off. For the sump lighting, I understand a clamp fixture would suffice, but I can't seem to find the correct bulb. What would anybody recommend?

Thank you

MH should be 8 to 12 inches off the water. Since your tank is tall, keep more towards the 8 inch mark. Lighting is not necessary for the tank to cycle, but for purely aesthetic reasons, I'd opt for actinics in the PC fixture.

I use clamp on lights for my fuge. I use the compact fluorescent spot light bulbs from Lowes.
