disappearing sea cucumber?

I introodcued 2 sea cucumbers (Holothuria floridana) to my system (one in the display and one in my refugium). The one in the display crept onto the glass the first night and then disappeared. Do they hide in the rockwork and substrate? Should I expect to see it out and about?

:bump: I've never had one but recall reading that they like to hide, especially during the day.

yes they are real good hidders. You might see their fingers sticking out of the rock or sand during the day. They blend in really well also so look hard.

Yep -- this morning my featherduster had been "uprooted" amnd moved to the back of the tank and the sand had been vacuumed clean. I'm sure it was the cucumber. LAter I moved a rock and there he was, curled up beneath it!
