Dave i would love to view it, but unfortunately its needs Windows Media Player.. Scott 04-18-2006, 09:56 PM Good job on the video Dave!
Rob....thought you had a PC somewhere there, or is it the doorstop I'm thinking about? ;) thought you had a PC somewhere there, or is it the doorstop I'm thinking about? ;)
there's a difference???? ;) wildeone 04-18-2006, 11:11 PM I love seahorses, they are so cool! Thanks for sharing with us! JustDavidP 04-19-2006, 09:02 AM Yeah...that's the other problem...the software I use only exports in WMV. I'm pretty sure that the Sony Handicam Software gives me other options. We shall see.
Wild... thanks for the feedback. It does show that seahorses are not boring, inactive fish. They are actually quite hard to photograph because they are always in motion.
Dave ZeroKoolNYC 04-19-2006, 11:06 AM Hello JustDavidP, awesome video! Scott 04-19-2006, 12:09 PM there's a difference???? ;)
sometimes there really isn't a difference.
So, do you have any suggestions to us folks stuck on a PC for video software? That could export to something ya MAC people can view? Scott 04-19-2006, 12:13 PM Yeah...that's the other problem...the software I use only exports in WMV. I'm pretty sure that the Sony Handicam Software gives me other options. We shall see.
Dave, I know what you mean. I used Windows Movie Maker, and I suspect you did also. That only exports to WMV...gotta love Microsoft.
I'm looking to see if I can find some cheap software that can do the same type of thing....but actually allow me to export to a format that anyone (PC, MAC, Linux) can play.
My camera saves my video in AVI format....extreemly large for sharing on the net. anything in mpeg, or mov format would work.
i can download and play wmv files with another application, but that website has the WMP built into the webpage, so it doesnt allow me to play it using my third party application (Video LAN Client) Scott 04-19-2006, 12:16 PM don't mean to get too sidetracked...but what do you use on your MAC to do your vid's? i use iMovie, which is part of Apple's iLife suite
which comes free with all Macs, and its rocks.. :) Scott 04-19-2006, 04:23 PM I gotta get me one of them Mac's.... lol.. yep.. you sure do.. :D
