Anyone ever heard of peppermint shrimp eating a sebae anemone. I bought an anemone and they have picked at the anemone until there are no insides hanging out of what us to be the opening. Every happen to anyone...whats the easiest way to catch them in the live rock so I can put them in a different tank :). Thanks

I've not heard this but they do eat aiptasia so maybe yours are not so species specific?

There shouldn't have been any insides hanging out of the anemone. Sounds like the sebae may have been unhealthy and the pe was just doing it's job as a scavenger. Either that, or you accidentally got camel shrimp which look very similar, but are not reef safe.
