sortly after buying my rock and everything comed down I noticed what looked like a clear anemone. At fist I though aptasia but it was completely clear with a white spot and an orange spot on it. I checked for it the next day and it was gone but shore enough that night there it is again. I waited to see and its been a few monthes now and its the only one that poped up and it only comes out at night any Ideas on what it could be.

They can have slightly differing appearances, but you are describing their behaviour perfectly. Unless you were poking around at night or when the lights first come on you may not even know you have them!

Could also be an orange ball anemone.

While a good camera is helpful good technique is invaluable. You can get great shots with a point and shoot camera if you use a tripod, use macro mode (the icon that looks like a tulip) and don't use a flash.

You can go to here Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com) and download your pics there and get the direct link or URL and post them directly to the post. Also you can resize images or make slideshows. The best part is its free. hope this helps. Thanks

Once you upload the photos you will have 4 boxes under each. Copy the one that says IMG Code and paste it in your post. The magic of computers will turn the text into a picture.

that one as with one step up from a camera phone. most of the color is from the sand and what not.
