I have only just dipped my toes into the coral world, and have just sitched from an 'off the shelf' calcium additive to a loclly mnufactured, two-part additive. Since its local, the name probably wont mean nything, but hopefuly the componants will.
calcium ----------- carbonate
magnsium ---------- sulfate
strontium --------- bicarbonate
potassium --------- bromide
lithium ---------- hydroxide
barium ----------- iodide
boron ----------- flouride
directions callfor no moe than 5 ml of each at a time. LFS aid tat I will get an almost immediate reading from this, whereas the other that I was using is buffered, no reading right away, harder to adjust levels.
this is manufactred by Coral Reef Research in Tamarac FL, its called NatuReef
It has instructions for drip as well as manual-no distinction for tank-size though.
anyone familiar? I used 5 ml of each yesterday, I dont see much of a rise today
