My zoas arent all opening anymore, some actually look missing. I have had it between these two colts (about 10" from each) do you think the colts are making zoas very unhappy?
BTW I keep finding way too many names for both of these colts. What is the best way for me to refer to them?

what are the water parameters ?? Zoas are a little more picky than leathers, so they could be giving you a sign that they do not like something. can you get a pic of them ??

parameters great, polyps definatly not happy about something, I moved them. Rock shouldnt be visible. Some of the closed polyps seem to have a tiny bit of white excrement. most are fine, many are not

some of mine do the same thing from time to time. i just think something has irritated them. they can stay closed for a while. i would just keep an eye on them ans see how they do for now.

Yeah, it doesn't look like zoa pox or anything like that. It's possible the colts are irritating them with chemical warfare, as colts can be prety noxious. Are you running carbon? Any noticable change after water changes?

A number of people have reopted good results with unhappy zoas dosing vitamin C. Theres a whole long thread about it on RC. I can link you toit if you'd like.

I'm not running any carbon, Ive moved them from between the colts, we'll see! BTW, Best ID o the colts? Lankey one a kenya? Stubby one cauliflower, fingers?
