no, its just that the iMacs come with built in HD displays that have color corrected profiles.. so images look good..
and on my work PC, the monitor isn't that good pham411 06-13-2006, 12:37 AM nice shot rob, can we see it in regular lighting also? i will have to look for some, those pics were from a while ago (old post) fat walrus 06-13-2006, 12:53 AM Rob, have u heard about the new iTune requirements in norway and sweden? yes, there not "official" yet, at least not that i have heard of..
last i heard Apple had there lawyers hard at work trying to get things straightened out
besides, it shouldn't affect podcasts, it should only affect the paid music store fat walrus 06-13-2006, 01:19 AM yes, there not "official" yet, at least not that i have heard of..

i understand that apple is sweating bullets because the size of investment in iTunes and all those label violations if the plan is implemented. well, they were deemed guilty of a violation, but were given two weeks to correct the infraction..
i think that was last week...
im sure they will find a way to correct it.. :) fat walrus 06-13-2006, 01:33 AM well, they were deemed guilty of a violation, but were given two weeks to correct the infraction..

spoken like an apple man through and through. in my early days, there were clones like bananas and pineapples. who remember the clone days? veriann 06-13-2006, 08:52 AM i would have bought a mac in a heartbeat, but non-techies gotta go with something that his friends can help him with. blame it on bill.
ive got agree, my family is in the film industry, so mac;s are common place everwhere! but its been the last 5-8years ive changed over to pc, wish i didn't, should have gone linix/unix. alot more stable than the junk they produce these days, in saying that, i do like HPackard products. very cool range fat walrus 06-13-2006, 11:33 PM ive got agree, my family is in the film industry, so mac;s are common place everwhere! but its been the last 5-8years ive changed over to pc, wish i didn't, should have gone linix/unix. alot more stable than the junk they produce these days, in saying that, i do like HPackard products. very cool range
nothing is close to the graphics of a mac. not hp, not sony vaio. apple has to reconquer one pc at a time. blame it on bill. dreams 06-15-2006, 02:14 PM nothing is close to the graphics of a mac
the computer my hubby built w/ the viewsonic LCD gaming monitor & a pair of nvidia 7800 gt video cards will kick a macs butt:p Reefbaby 06-15-2006, 03:42 PM Rob, have u heard about the new iTune requirements in norway and sweden?

not too sure about details, but iTunes must remove the restrictions that prevent the music from being transfered by the consumer to each other through any means they choose. here are the details

they were just given another 2 weeks or so to correct the issue veriann 06-16-2006, 01:18 AM yeah i heard u cant upload licenced material at the moment, why they crack down so hard is beyond me, but it makes it difficult for some podcasters. i know space music was hit hard by the new condition fat walrus 06-16-2006, 01:26 AM napster all over again. ZeroKoolNYC 06-16-2006, 08:51 AM Rob, beautiful photographs. What type of Digital Camera are you using to take your shots? It seems that I should get a mac since everyone and their grandmothers are getting them and their just bashing the PC's into the ground. I hate the fall of a grand empire. those were taken with a Canon 350D dSLR with my tele/macro lense.
not a great lense for macro shots, but it works for some things.. :)
