I just got a great deal on a used 95 gallon Tenecor with integrated simplicity filter, so my big reef tank project is finally underway.

I have some ideas on what I want to do, but I am wondering if anyone here had modded one of these tanks before?

I want to take out all the bio media space in the back, and I would like to figure out how to add an oceans motions squirt wavemaker to the plumbing, and probably drill the tank for a sump as well.

Curious...

Wow Jeff, that's great! I've missed seeing you around here. How's it going?

Too much to do and not enough time to do it in. Plus my aquarium stuff really hit a crossroads. The prop tank stuff is working great (well, the sps half at least) but it is not what I was wanting. With the 29 gallon, I have CLEARLY reached the limit of what I can do with this tank and associated equipment. So, it was either scale way down or quit altogether or do what I really want to do in the size I want to do.

95 gallons is actually bigger than what I had in mind but the tank kinda fell into my lap and was a steal.

Now provided I can do the right mods and restore the tank properly, I have a wonderful opportunity to do something cool. The stand isn't perfect but it is nice, and the tank is a $2000 tank that I picked up for under $300.

I guess we'll see what happens...

Thanks for your kind words CJ
