Any idea what this is? its spiral in shape, and slippery, it can be scraped off:eek:
I saw it yesterday when the lights came on. Its at the top of my overflow, The only critter in that area was a lettuce slug, he was actually there for a while, dont know if its related!

Thats funny, I did notice her there for a long time, and she knd of folded herself up which I thought was odd. I wish I could remember with absolute certainty which one it was. Do they lay unfertilized eggs does anyone know?

I've never raised nudis before, but there's a guy in my local reef club that regularly breeds his bhergias. I think he just lets the eggs hatch in the tank, and eventualy there are baby nidibranchs roaming around. Yours are so close to the overflow, I hope they don't get sucked over when they hatch :(

I believe they will get sucked up! Maybe thats not a bad thing, to stay in my overflow, my amphipods love it in there! A mini fuge! I'll have to give that some more thought, I have a slug that regulary takes trips in and out of there! If they dont get sucked up, I am sure the wrasse will find them a tasty treat. Gestation is about five days. I was wondering about carefully scraping themm off and moving them. They dont feed right away after being hatched. I have to do more research. If you can find anything out from your friend, I would sure appreciate it!!
Happy Easter
