Looks like bacterial growth however leaves white specks. Starts out green and then we have grainy specks on glass. Now thinking that it could be two infestations occurring at once.

Can you get a clearer picture. Maybe backing off a bit.

Still can't tell much from the picture.. it could be anything. It could be a green cyano with O2 bubbles being produced. It could be a simple film algae on the glass with snail eggs. Sorry :(

I bet the white specks are those tiny vermetid snails. I get them all over my glass...they're a pain to clean off!

Probably not vermetid, but those tiny feather dusters. Do they have duster heads Christy? Or do they spin those yucky, snotty, webs?

oh...you're totally correct Dave! Mine are the tiny feather dusters....they're everywhere! All over my glass, pumps, sump walls....I guess I can't complain...they're just a pain to clean off of places where you really don't want them.
Yeah, the vermetids are much different. I have a huge one that's in symbiosis with one of my acroporas....it slimes all over the coral, but so far the coral doesn't seem to mind. I guess it's able to profit from some of the captured food.
