Most of it goes to paying off bills! BUT... I'm picking this baby up next week:

A new Perfecto, 56 Gallon Column :D It's 30X24X18. It's going where the old bowfront was. Next... to the carpentry shop... gotsta build me a canopy!
I'll keep you all posted.
OH.. and thank you to Michelle and Aly at Skipton's Pet in Boston for working with me to order this system. If you have an option to shop in Beantown, you HAVE to check them out... both the store and the gurls ;)

JustDavidP 03-13-2008, 02:47 PM Oh...and mine has a corner overflow on the left. It's gooing to have a 250W MH and 2X55 PC Actinics, DSB, and is going to be the tank that will be plumbed through the floor and into the infamous... SUMPZILLA!!

You did a good job picking it out but.... you should have been indecisive in choosing the tank.... that way you could of seen the gurls more than one time! :tongue2: Love your aqua lab, wish I had more room! Curious is good...it's what started us off keeping these critters in glass boxes ;) Let me 'splain...

The last available footprint in my home. That's a 20 gallon (my first reef.. can you say "awww") in the same area. It's only 34 inches wide between the windows. The tank I'm getting has a 30 inch width, and with stand, is 32 and some change.. as much per inch as I can get in the space.
Fair enough?

I can't post their pictures or they'd kill me. Lets just say that Michelle is an adorable and bright, young asian woman. Alyson is just as smart..and just as much a looker ;)
Both are "Skiptonauts", some of Skipton's finest. Both are professional and great gals.

great idea measuring the space you have and buying the tank that fits there! I did like most others, bought the tank and then tried to figure out which wall it would fit on. :D

JustDavidP 03-15-2008, 11:09 PM My first BIG reef was in my basement. It was a beauty, but I didn't get to see it often. It's kind of the kids' cave down there. This tank is right accross from my easy chair :)
