Hello Bryan Ayo! Sorry that no one has replied to your post and I'm sure that it is an oversight. After all every one here does work and have other responsibilities. To the best of my knowledge, and trying to keep up with TR happenings, we do not currently have a TOTM at this time due to a very low participation response and interest . However there has been talk in the recent past of getting members to participate in something like that again. And QUALITY has nothing to do with it as TR is one of the finest, factual information, helping and involved communities that there is from my own personal view point of course. So forgive us for being slow in responding to your questions as it was not intentional. Many have chosen to start a Members Tank Journal and post their pics and progress there and of course we also post threads and include our photos there also. It is good to know that you are interested in the TOTM and hopefully in the very near future there will be many others so we can successfully have one once again. :)

sorry bryan, i was waiting for Carmie to respond here. mainly because my answer would have been ... i have no idea.

i believe that Carmie is going to be heading up that contest with some help from the other mods. she has been a family vacation (for lack of a better word). she should respond soon though.

LOL Not at all but i do feel like for such a high profile site it is not as organized as it could be..Im just saying the i've been a member for a few years and it seem like the sit as a hole has slowly declined! This is not the first time i've seen this kind of thing happen...Just my two cents but you it seems like you are losing the interest of one of the first supporters in the TR community !

I've been in Washington DC more than home lately..I know I've not been quick to reply to all posts, but as stated, we all have other responsibilities (ie, my job = 50+ hours a week + baseball coaching + rasing two kids, a dog, and multiple tanks :) ) and we try our best.

There is no tank of the month, to the best of my knowledge, but there was talk about picture of the month. However, it was a proposal based on interest and input. I believe yours is the first inquiry on the matter.

I understand the people have lives...I'm just comparing thing to my LRC ...A simple question would never go days with out a response....And its not Bobby or Carmie Jo...They work there butts off to make this happen We need to see more posting and less lurking

Bryan...I can also vouch for everyone trying to do their best here.
When the community was smaller, with less postings, I was able to keep up with all the conversations going on. but, like Dave, I've got a million and one things going on (two jobs, a child, a dog, a crazy family AND AN AQUARIUM!!!!) I guess it's gotten much easier to miss some of the postings...and I honestly can not keep up with all of them anymore.
But...I'm glad to see that you've hung in here with us..through the thick and thin...and hopefully we'll find more people that are willing to put in that extra effort to make this site what it is.

This month's contest is open season for anything marine aquarium related but future month's contests will be themed.

I guess it's gotten much easier to miss some of the postings...and I honestly can not keep up with all of them anymore.

I for one want to say "thanks". This post/thread made me more aware of other posts and threads that sometimes go without attention. I've made it a habit now to check postings with "zero" replies, or low replies for that matter.

Yeah... well..about that. I grew up across the street from a ski hill (Prospect hill in Waltham, MA) I was always the first there, and got in trouble for coming in late. Now, as part of the "ovah 40 crowd", and living with herniated L4 and L5, my miserable, leaching friends in my spine, I can't do it. Furthermore, again, as a kid, I'd come in with ice on my face, and frozen clothing. Today, if I hear the forecaster say the word s**w, I quiver.
