I found these on my front glass this morning. It looked like one of my Cerith snails was laying them. What do you guys think?

Those look like cerith snail eggs to me, about 99% sure. I have some cerith snails and i caught one laying eggs that looked exactly like that.

Thanks everyone for the replies. How long do they take to hatch and develope? Today all thats left is remenents of the original pic. If it happens again can i carefully scrape them off and hatch them in their own tank? Sorry for all the questions, it's the first time this has happened to me.

Scraping them off is usually not successful. I think that ceriths may have a veliger stage but I am not sure.

Some Cerith snails have direct developing eggs (crawl away babies), some have short-lived veligers, some have long-lived veligers that need to feed.
It all depends on the species, but typically eggs that are laid in that manner do not survive to new baby snails.

I don't feed my tank everyday so I bet my fish loved the tasty snack. Thanks for all the replies everyone!
