I am up in Ohio and visiting my mom and David, her Chinese high school exchange student.

Unfortunately, I was expecting Spring Break and not Winter Break! I didn't even bring a coat, just my vest. Good thing my hubby likes the car colder than I do and I wore my TR hoodie the day we left! This picture was taken in the afternoon and there was another FIVE INCHES over night! David is from the southern part of China and has never seen so much snow!

Wow! Yeah, I think I'd stick to NC!

Hope you had a good time despite the weather :)

We had a nice time, it just wouldn't stop snowing. I scored a Wii for my mom for Christmas and was just getting to deliver it to her so we had fun playing it all weekend! I was using my full size 4x4 SUV and pulling the neighbors out of snowbanks! The people in the shorter, smaller, lighter SUV's were getting stuck because the snow was so deep!

Good grief CJo! Hurry home before your blood congeals! :rotfl: You might have to contact Poppin for some emergency freeze first aid! Well, at least the great thing was you got to see your folks anddddd got to wee wee! (Wii) Next year I bet your folks would love to visit you to thaw out. Glad you got to blow them away with your wheels and they say girls aint smart.

And hey Phurst! Awe, as your accent from recent trabbels wore off? :tongue2: Gonna miss the National Phurst Geographic byplays.

It is always good to see everyone! I'm expecting to hear that my mom (who bowls in 2 leagues) has established a Wii bowling league in her front room! It is a little surprising though to hear senior citizens talking about where they have played video games!

As a fellow two league bowler, your mom sounds like an amazing woman! :D

Olah Carmie!!!!!!! :love!: Welcome back!!!!!!!!

My dad was nuts over Nintendo and was pretty darn good at it too! It's very good for them as it stimulates the brain and coordination skills! And, I loved playing with him too. He was so much fun to be with.

I'm glad it was a great hit with your Mom and I'm glad you got to spend some time with her.

As a fellow two league bowler, your mom sounds like an amazing woman! :D Yeah, she does pretty good for 77 years old. She even has her exchange student bowling in youth leagues. The village I grew up in has 900 folks and an 8 lane bowling alley. There really isn't much else to do there.. When I was growing up I thought that everyone knew how to roll a decent game. :)
